The services were suspended due to “security reasons” in south Kashmir, where two youth were killed and nine others were injured allegedly in army soldier’s firing in Shopian on Saturday. “All trains are running in Kashmir valley today on all routes as per schedule,” a railway official said. He said train service on Badgam-Srinagar-Anantnag-Qazigung in south Kashmir to Banihal in Jammu region resumed on Monday evening after remaining suspended for about two days for “security reasons”. “We are acting on the advice of local administration and police who are taking decision keeping in view the security situation in the valley,” he said.
